Omg, I am just fascinated on how much time and effort to make an epic game like this!
Multiple reasons why:
1. The varieties of towers you can choose from and the power ups you get from picking that level 4 upgrade. The main thing I like about this; is the strategy you put into this tower building (not just some strategy); for example, if you were versing a really fast enemy that can skip most of your frontier troops (trying my best not to spoil), you need a tower with descent attack speed to take out those beasts. In other words, critical thinking is really important.
2. Challenging (campaign) levels is just as hard as the endless mode you receive. The levels filled with 15+- waves, plus theyre really hard (sometimes), considering that the lay out of the troops are stronger. You need to plan out your towers (read reason 1), thats another reason why I like this game.
3. Next, I love the concept of this game, not because of the challenges/difficulty of the levels nor the towers. Its because of the map. The map has really amazing secrets that you can find with a tap of a finger, but thats not the point. The point is the map "change", in one of the levels (trying my best not to spoil, again), one of the beast explodes a path then another that the enemies will take. My reaction was priceless, that is the reason I failed on that attempt. I was too surprised, that the sudden change of the map is confusing you, probably because you already decked out this area and "omg, another path?!" And then you start to rush towers thats really weak against the enemies and then you rushed spells and more just keep going? Bro, I feel you..
4. The hints of the map is really getting on my nerves (thats a good thing), as in; the level is trying to (read reason 3) confuse/surprise you; for example, a level which you see two telepads (but you dont know it yet), and then suddenly enemies start teleporting and skip half of the map! Then youre like: "k wow.. gg no re..." This is yet another reason why I like this game.
5. Just like the towers, and now the enemies, I mean, holy cow that is a lot of variation of enemies! In other words, some enemies are magic resistant, and some have some armour. The thing I like about this is the towers you choose against that specific enemy (read reason 1 or 2). Magic can penetrate armour, and melee/attack damage can destroy magic resist. Look at that, another reason why I like this game.
6. Finally, the heros, upgrades and the gem shop. I love the heros abilities and its power, that its almost broken in a level. I mean, thats good if youre a casual player. But my point here is the different kinds of heros, like the archer or the healer (trying not to spoil once again), theyre really cool. The upgrades are there to help you out (obviously), but I like it how the upgrades you choose affects your gameplay, same with your hero, thats the most thing I like. The gem shop, in my opinion, I kind of feel like its useless at some points of the game, but since you get 100+ gems per level, mehh, might as well get some stuff, what else can you do with the gems other than buy stuff? Ill leave that up to you. Phew, yet another reason down.
Alas! This has come to my conclusion that this game deserves a 5/5 (in my opinion)! And to celebrate, let us give some complaints and concerns to the staff members (maybe). Now that Im finished here. I really love this game. I hope you the best of luck on making the fourth game (gosh damit)!! Anyway, good luck, and bye bye.
